Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Forces
Introduction to Forces
AW:DS implements a rather new gameplay aspect with it's new COs, the Rank system. In short, it's a level system where, after COs get enough experience after battle, go up in rank and get all sorts of stuff. That stuff is listed here in the following forces list.
Ranks, in more detail, go up per 1000 experience points earned. Now, experience points after battle are calculated by way of how many battle maps points you got, so you can get a maximum of 300 per map and per CO if you're on dual CO mode at the time. Certainly a handy bit of information when going for forces.
What is a 'force' though? A force is simply a little boost that COs can equip to make up for shortcomings or enhance their strengths. Starting off, COs are at Rank 0 until they get enough experience for Rank 1. They then, will have access to the forces listed under Rank 1. However, they will only be able to equip one force. When they reach Rank 2, they get the forces under Rank 2 and can now equip 2 forces. It continues in this fashion until they reach Rank 4 where from then on, they can only equip a maximum of 4 forces. So, choose wisely.
